Getting Dewey Ready

Let’s Get Started

So this last week, I finally went ahead and signed up for Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon (http://www.24hourreadathon.com for all you wanting to also sign up) with hopes that this year will be THE YEAR in which I FINALLY accomplish this task. That being said, I also have a lot of library books that need to be read before I get on the whole “Picking books for the Readathon” thing. Have YOU ever done a Readathon? If so, what are your favorite rituals and go-to books?

  1. I’ve done several of these readathons and my main advice is to have lots of book choices from many different genres including also short stories, poetry, and graphic novels for example. I am not big into audiobooks but many people have several of those on hand too. I wrote a post on my blog on how I prepare for the readathon. Come on over and check it out if you like. šŸ™‚ I hope you have a fantastic time on Saturday!
